161. Surface Tension

Water droplet inbetween the the leaves of a lupin.

It might not look that good, but it looks better enlarged. It just intrigued me because what looked to the naked eye like a rounded droplet is actually being pulled in all directions by the forces around it.

Cool and interesting shot! Makes me think of the surface tension experiment I've seen young science students do: See how many drops of water can be placed on a penny before it overflows. One of those "hands-on" activities kids love!
