316. Paper Robin

Lin found this little paper robin in the bottom of my Mum's craft box. I'm not sure if she had any particular plans for it or whether it was a reject that just found its way to the bottom of the box. Anyway, today would have been Mum's 81st Birthday, so it seemed like a good time to post it.

      Sweet shot. I've tried quilling for a greetings card an it's quite difficult. Nice that she made this and you have a pretty reminder of her skills.

      This is such a treasure! The technique is called Quilling or Paper Filigree, I took a class on it once. It's absolutely beautiful... I'm sure she'd be honored that it found it's way on to your blog to celebrate her birthday.
