Euplagia quadripunctaria rhodosensis

Its latin name means The Four Dot Page. It is otherwise known as The Jersey Hawk Moth, the Wooly Bear - because the caterpillars are very hairy, der Russische Bär (the Russian Bear), die Spanische Flagge or Spaanse Vlag (the Spanish Flag), ?едведи?а ?е??????о?е?ная (Four Spot bear), Ecaille chinée (Mottled Tortoiseshell), Csíkos medvelepke (Striped Tiger Moth), Avenu lacitis (Teddy Bear), Spriadač kostihojový (Spinning Comfrey) and possibly many other names.
