Mounds of harvested cranberries alongside one of the local cranberry bogs await their fate. After harvesting, there are normally small mounds that go to waste; but hopefully, that won't be the case for these larger mounds. Most harvesting equipment vacuums cranberries directly from flooded bogs, through a cleansing water spray, and into trucks for the trip to processors.
