Valley of dry bones

This is the Chauchilla Cemetery in Nazca, Peru. My family and I made had a family trip to Nazca. It was incredibly fun and interesting to see the history of the Nazcan people. When we went to the desert there was a cemetery in the middle of nowhere. The most interesting thing was that there was so many bones scattered everywhere. The bones had been dug up by tomb raiders; they would take the riches that the people were buried with and just leave the bones everywhere. When you look at the cemetery you see a valley behind it as you can see in the photo. The first story that came to my mind was the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37. Ezekiel 37:1-14 is Ezekiel talking with God and God is telling Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones and they will become a vast army. “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37:10. That seems impossible to any human being but with God all things are possible. There are things in life that feel like they are impossible to overcome but with the strength of God on your side you can be an overcomer. You have to pray and trust that God will do the impossible in just the right time.

Yours truly, Jewels
