Lancaster, PA

Lancaster, PA is known mostly for its surrounding Amish communities. The Amish are known for their refusal of modern technology, their farming, cooking, and craftsmanship, conformity above individuality, and for their dedication to their traditional Anabaptist German routes.

Lancaster is also known for their plethora of antique shops. Here is a photo of an old, dilapidated Amish buggy.

Love it. Great shot. I actually looked into joining the Amish once. Was feeling rebellious towards modern technology/society. . .(like, how long do I really think I could go without internet???) It's not that easy to join. You have to go and live among them for a period of time (I forget how long).
