Bankruptcy Too

This is another set that shows the remnants of a once-great automobile industry.

You almost imagine and feel that this was once a bustling place, which provided many jobs that were done with pride.

Change is tough!

I agree with atszabo, such a feeling of sadness and misery as well as loss. I love the wall picture in #23.

Having lived so long in England I can't believe that people leave their 'abandoned' buildings with so much stuff in them? All the contents would either be removed at closure - if not - they would grace car-boot sales up and down the country!!!!Even at the end of their days - these one mighty industries have a flamboyant disregard for stuff others would value - leave that stuff for 5 seconds in Rio and it would be gracing someones favella home!!!

Is there anything to fill the void here? What would be the highest and best use of this land there?
Excellent documentary, Jeff: this is where the sheer number of pictures adds to the weight of the message: scrolling down your pictures gave me the feeling of relentless and unending misery...
