This is a pure South India breakfast from the region that I come from - a state named Karnataka in the southern part of India. Idlis are steamed cakes of rice or other flour. Mostly savoury but can be made sweet too.
This particular idli is nutritious and healthy. Made of Ragi (millet flour) and served with coconut chutney. Washed down this Sunday breakfast with coffee in true South Indian style.
