Opposite the Royal Palace Museum in Luang Prabang [] is a hill, Phu Si. Climbing to the top gives you a great perspective of the town and rivers, but also at the top, as well as on the way up, are a number of temples [].
At the summit is That Chomsi a small temple partly carved into the rock.
As it was so compact it made for interesting shots through windows. Another one of my favourite ways to photograph is to use the scene as a natural frame.
