Temple Waterfall

Longshan Temple in the centre of Taipei dates back to the 18th century and as the legend goes, is built on the site where a man hung an amulet belonging to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, on a tree and it gave off a brilliant light.
Quite appropriate as it is a lovely place to visit, day or night. The first time I went was early evening and the entrance courtyard was lit up bathing everything in a golden light.
