Natural light

Halong Bay [photoblog.com] in the north-east of Vietnam consists of around 2000 limestone islands. Some of the islands are hollow and have enormous caves. Not all of the caves though are above land and so accessible to tourists, but this one Thiên Cung grotto is, and is only 4 km from the harbour at Halong City so it's a popular place to start the day.
To get into the cave you have to climb up a long stairway surrounded by forest but once you are inside, the cavern is huge.
There isn't much natural daylight inside, rather the opposite - garish fluorescent lights picked out the details on the rocks, yet tucked away in one corner was this natural skylight and it was beautiful.
