Jedi Scarecrow

Actually the brown hooded cape is more Berber than Jedi, but the style was appropriated for Alec Guiness in Star Wars.
On the way out of Tozeur towards the south and Ksar Ghilane we drove through the Chott el-Djerid an enormous salt lake covering up to 7000 km². At strategic rest stops (read: souvenir & tea shops) there were sculptures and objects out on the flat, some made out of salt, others from wood.
