A Day Outside

I'm just now getting back into photography and decided to try my hand at macro shots because i love looking at everyone else's so much.
These are my first attempts and I'm proud of them even though i know i have a LONG way to go to be at the level of my PB friends.. hopefully one day i can achieve the skills they posses :) until then i will continue to wander around snapping close ups that catch my eye and view my friends shots asking myself “ how do they get so much detail on those tiny bugs!!” haha
any criticism or advice to help make me a better photographer is welcomed:)

Pretty purple flowers:)

A little “helicopter” or so we call them:)

A teeny tiny wild strawberry( I just googled them to find out what exactly they are) growing in the grass.. Just a speck of red to the naked eye I had no idea it had these little bumps til I took this shot!

Growing on a tree

Also growing out of the side of the same tree

No 1 is so pretty, it looks like lilac, but it can't be as it's completely the wrong season and the leaves are all wrong, but it is still very pretty...
