Seeing the Chinese zodiac on paper place mats in Chinese restaurants never gets old. I know I am a Cock, but it is still fun to be reminded about birth years and their associated virtues. I messaged my sister to remind her she was a Boar, that she had a beautiful personality and was blessed with good fortune. Her response: "Year of the big hairy brother of the pig!" I suppose it is okay for her to say this as she has pigs, chickens, goats and a menagerie of other critters.

Here in the south, if we see a pig we may begin to think about what's for dinner. But we all know that pigs are smart and have personality and pluck. I've enjoyed being reminded of what the boar represents in Chinese culture and the traditions that go with it.

Well I'll be, you are so right. I haven't thought about those musicians since my littles were small. Love it!

I had to look it up myself. I know it was in a fairy tale, but I couldn't think of the title smile
