ITE College East [ite.edu.sg] is the first comprehensive technical education college Regional Campus to be set up under the “One ITE System, Three Colleges” education model launched on 1 January 2005. College East Campus Forum The nursing laboratories are designed to provide simulated ward settings for the teaching of skills in a realistic environment. The simulated wards include pediatric, geriatric and isolation wards. This is an Operating Theatre training zone of the ITE-METI Healthcare Simulation Centre [ceintra.ite.edu.sg]. It is a state-of-the-art training facility which provides students with the opportunity to learn and practise nursing care using high fidelity patient simulators. The RoboLION is a mechanized robot designed and built to mimic the dance steps of a Chinese Lion Dance, and controlled via an electronic circuitry. These chess pieces are produced by the Robotics Manufacturing Workcell. It consists of two CNC-machines (Mill and Turn) together with a 5-axis robot mounted on a linear slide for automated feeding and a material buffer with material input/output point. The system is able to produce a range of similar products in mixed sequence down to lot-size.
