Cars and Stars

Three or four days ago now, I was informed there was a solar storm that produced plasma waves that was headed to the northern area of the Earth. 4 waves were to hit over two days and each wave was possible of creating Aurora Borealis. Well the first waves hit and Northern Europe saw the Northern Lights and I saw some beautiful pictures from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, etc… The next two waves were supposed to hit and be visible from The northern United States. Unfortunately, both waves hit but didn't produce the Northern Lights. At least they didn't in my area. Regardless of that, I managed to get two photos I enjoyed.
My camera isn't the best at picking up stars, so the fact that it did last night made me quite happy. I'm not sure if they'll show up on such a small picture, but I'll provide a link to flickr where you can see an enlarged version…
