Funabashi City, Japan (part 1)

Here is a selection of shots of Funabashi City, east of Tokyo. You could hardly call it an attractive city but after 5 years living here, I've sort of grown to like it. It has a population of about half a million and is the only place near Tokyo that I know of without a Starbucks.

On the plus side, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, and compared to many towns here it's fairly multi-cultural. Tokyo, Odaiba and the Tokyo Disneyland Resort are all less than 30 minutes away by train.

I'm hoping to put up more photos of my city pretty soon!
