MONTANA...Is STUNNING. We arrived late the night before so waking up in this BEAUTIFUL home with views of wildlife and the mountains, was my reward for driving 12 hrs. Adam’s parents, such gracious hosts, welcomed us.
After sleeping in…with Bess and Brooks curled up against me, we woke for a lazy morning exploring downtown Bozeman. What an adorable town!! It has a hip Madison vibe to it (both college towns), but also a high end nature feel..Aspen-like. We went in and out of adorable shops looking for a hat for me**, got a LATTE (Thank you Jesús) and asked EVERY shop owner if they knew of a comic book store (Brooks’ one fault with the town).
After returning, we explored our options for the day and decided MOM NEEDED A BREAK. Nana took MD and Bess to Bozeman pool and Brooks stayed back with me to build a prairie dog let me have some much needed silence.
For dinner , back to town for Mackenzie River Pizza and a slow walk around.
Ok… so that was really CHILL FOR JEN… and panic was setting in that we needed to EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING Bozeman had to offer… or BUST! Tomorrow is a new day to JAM full of activities!
** SEE... it has already started in my house… I bought a straw hat for myself, but since Bess doesn’t like the cubs hat I brought her… guess who has the hat now???
