Leaving the park we were all so excited to get to the YMCA of the Rockies. This is considered one of the top family camps in the nation, and we got to stay there for the night!!! It was awesome!
Our cabin was fully stocked, sleeping 5 and near everything fun a family could do. So many personalities, so many things to do…. but we succeeded. I was especially excited about the craft room… but trying to make everyone happy, I was too anxious to sit down and craft. The projects were so beautiful, painted silk scarves, ceramics, tie-dye, wood burning, jewelry making, mosaics, painting… amazing place.
After the kids made a few projects, we had dinner, and watched a family of deer chill out on our front lawn. Amazing!
Afterwards, it was four-square and mini golf…. then games back in the cabin. Too much fun for some tired kids!
We finished our day today with 8am archery and some beading for mom….and a little play in the Game Center for the boys....before heading back to Denver for our last day.
This experience with my wonderful nieces and children will forever be in my heart.
