One Hike, Three Photos...

Did a little exploring at The Morton Arboretum this morning... took the little camera and lens... nice day for a hike... usually kinda' quiet there but today was 'bring your dog day' so lots of sniffing doggies - considered bringing our knuckleheads but... well... they're knuckleheads! 🤪

I noticed these seed pods and slowed down and then my wife noticed them and said how cool they looked... so how could I NOT take a photo!?!

I was just drawn to these leaves at The Morton Arboretum this morning - not sure I love the photo but I am still captured by 'something' about these leaves... maybe just their 'green-ness' among all the beige and white of winter... or maybe just their 'three-ness' - and their almost perfect symmetry... Like a little family of leaves out for a winter walk in the wood - baby, mommy, daddy...

I don't usually like my wider landscape style shots but I kind of like this one from our morning at The Morton Arboretum - I pushed the clarity a bit because i just like how snow renders with it...

Okay - I actually have two more so my title is wrong... but I'm stubborn so I'm not changing it... 🤪

I think this first one is a miniature of sculptures that are coming this summer - HUGE sculptures...

And the next one is just a cool little crick that was trickling through the snow covered area...
