Almost Done for the Season

The trees in the reflection photo (2, 3) are not as full of leaves as they appear. I shot the reflections instead of full-on tree as it gives the impression, due to the moving water of being fuller than what they truly were.

Heavy rain and wind the last several days shortened the gorgeous display of color. As promised in earlier posts, I took a walk down to the brook behind the house to see what I can find. I was really hoping for more but there isn't much left back there. These were taken where the stream diverts to a small cedar swamp.
Brook Reflections. Downstream. Last of the color. The days of heavy rains, and wind just blew the leaves off the trees way to soon for me.
