This is the new book published by Running Press Book Publishers. My image is on the cover. It wraps around the flap, spine, and backside.
More covers to come… I believe this is my fourth this year (?) I don't keep track.
You can find it and other Running Press books in just about any bookstore.

The Book and Cover.

The final image as presented to the designer assigned to this project. Shot in October 2009 in Vermont at a local pond. Left home at midnight, drove all night to arrive at sun up. Arrived on site in the dark expecting a calm morning reflection and some minor fog over the pond. Instead I got heavy fog, mist, constant drizzle to downright pouring rain and, in the end, almost two years later, a very nice payday. The drive into this pond was white knuckled at best–driving over fist-sized rocks (mini boulders) or on slippery, oozing, rain-soaked mud. Thank goodness for Subaru AWD. And the entire three hours I spent wandering around I was the only soul there.
As I've said in the past: If you are handed lemons, GET CREATIVE, and make lemonade.
When compared to the original the changes were at the request of the designer:
Soften certain parts of the image a bit more. Darken. Saturate the trees somewhat.

The Original Image. Nikon D300, 18-200VR Zoom @ 27mm, 1/2 second Exposure, F8.0, iso 100, tripod, remote. Blue tinge rendered IN CAMERA by adjusting the white balance to a cooler flavor.
Jorge, how absolutely wonderful!!! I am so happy for your success. Both images are wonderful. Congratulations. I hope to see more of your book covers in the future!!
