Day One (cont) Death Valley Travels

by Jorge Moro September. 16, 2018 385 views

Since I was camping inside Death Valley I was able to travel around at my leisure all hours of the night, and day. This first image is one of the many "side roads" that lead deep into the desert. Rough road, but I had an AWD truck - which I gotta say - well that's a story for another post later on...

These final two images were taken in the evening light. One thing about the desert is the lighting is magical.

#3 I love this shot. This is one of those spots that is on my revisit list but with the caveat during winter or early spring .

Agreed!  I was lucky. When I was there April 30-May 2nd evening temps was around 57 degrees F. Maybe 80's during the day.  Very comfortable walking around and sleeping weather.
