Flying B-17

by John Robert Miller August. 25, 2015 1951 views

The historic Nine-O-Nine, a B-17 Flying Fortress, a heavy bomber of WWII, which is owned and flown by the Collings Foundation currently appears at airshows across the United States. What a thrill it is to see and hear one lifting off the runway. Techie note: This was shot with a Canon 40D with a 100-400 zoom lens.

Each post seems to be with a different camera! I'm impressed with this. As the owner of a dust pumper (the lens you used here), I've rarely achieved anything so sharp.
