In my ignorance, the Tetons for me were a destination `on the way to Yellowstone'. In fact, they are a wonderful, picturesque destination in their own right. Mormon Row is a fascinating (and much photographed) insight into the Mormon settlement of the area.

How can you resist photographing the original Mormon houses against that wonderful backdrop? You can see the permanent glacier in the background, a great contrast with the t-shirt-and-shorts late summer conditions of our visit.
