Here is the second half of our trek from the north west Vietnamese mountain town of Sapa into the Muong Hoa Valley.

I kept finding myself trailing the group, taking too many photos.

Eventually the small settlements in the valley came into view.

A river crossing took us to flatter areas for our walk.

Buildings were a little more concentrated into small villages in the valley. The terracing continued right down to the river.

In the village we got to visit a local person's home. Here she is working with dyed fabrics - her hands stained from the dye.

Above, the mist was turning to rain.

Then it really started to come down.

The last couple of kilometres of the walk were pretty wet. But that was all part of the fun.

We really enjoyed our trek. Many thanks for a great day, Lan!
Beautiful pictures. #5 - the fabric is an eye catching, I would have bought it!
I'm looking forward ...
