Rock pools, Meroo Point

Rock pools in the clean and clear waters of the south coast of New South Wales host an amazing array of life.

Sea anemones.

Mother of peal. The waters were extraordinarily clear.

I guess a rock pool should host some rocks.

Not sure I got this...
So there are all those mini pools, and plants and fishes live there? Or animals are trapped there during the low tide? Maybe both?
Thsi is super cool anyway! smile

Yes, I think both. The pools seem to have semi permanent residents but also get refreshed in high tides. But I'll need that degree in marine biology to confirm!
