Winter walk

I like to go out for walks with my camera as much as I can. Usually I try to seize opportunities whenever they present themselves. Today that was beautiful weather combined with a physiotherapist session. My physiotherapist is located in a lovely rural region with lots of pastures and trees. So after the session I went out to enjoy the sunshine and take some pictures.

This is some rough bark of a tree. Because of its roughness I think it looks pretty interesting in black and white with a high contrast.

The original version was pretty boring. Trees, green grass and a blue sky. This version is much better in my opinion.

I really wanted to like this photo, but I hated the background. So I amused myself with using the pencil tool in LR to make it less dominant. I'm not really sure if I succeeded in creating a better image 😅

This photo was also pretty standard and boring in its original version. By removing most of the colors it already looks much better. I like how orange is both the most dominant color in the horses as in the leaves of the trees.

I am quite happy with some of the results, even though my editing skills are still pretty limited (It's a good thing lightroom has lots of decent presets). 😊 Which of these photos do you like best? That is, if you like any of them of course. 😄

Looks like you had lots of fun!
I like #2, the contrast, light and shadows grabs my attention and your composition suits it!
Reminds me of a cinematic scene.
