Moody atmosphere: part 1

by Jolien Dekens January. 29, 2020 177 views

The weather during our last hike was a bit foggy. Which created a nice moody atmosphere in the landscape.

To change things up a little bit, I took my 45 mm lens with me this time instead of my trusty 17 mm. I quickly realized why I like the 17 mm so much 😅. The longer focal length requires a higher shutter speed, which is annoying when there's so little light. Plus everything always seemed to close... So I don't think I'll do it again, but it was still interesting to see the kind of pictures I could take with the portrait lens.
