Day 8: Flohmarkt and Tatort

A booth at the Charlottenbourg Flea-market

Today, I went to a flea-market by the U-bahn stop Tiergarten. There was a lot of great house-decorations, furniture and clothing. Unfortunately, the truth of my situation is that I don't have a lot of room for extra clothing and absolutely no room to bring furniture. Although there were some authentic Socialist/Communist hats, (like Bomber Hats) almost similar to the one worn by the man, that cost €25. I was tempted. But instead, I settled for my first Currywurst (yummy) and Glühwein (warm and cozy).

Then sat in a cafe and studied. Unfortunately, today meant saying goodbye to Alex Yang, as he's back to Paris then the U.S.

And tonight was Tatort! It's a German crime show, like Law and Order. We went as a group and watched it in a bar called Volksbar. I think that my weekend was all about Entführung (kidnapping). That is, the opera was about kidnapping, the Tatort was about kidnapping, and then at the end of the night, Ginny Weasley became enführt in the Chamber of Secrets. Love me some Krimis.
