Entrance to our “Salady” in the heart of Krakow
Krakow’s got amazing prices. Thus you get two things: good food for cheap and good thrifting. That was my day, thrifting and eating my way through the city. They have a chain of thrift stores that sell clothes per kilogram. I got shorts, a rain jacket, a shirt, and a belt. Such good deals.
The restaurant Chimera is a salad bar, where the food is lovely and fresh. You just pay for a small plate or a large plate, which gets you determined numbers of dishes. Their Quiche was so delicious.
And to explain the “salady” thing. Polish consists of so many words with -i and -y on the end. It brings this like "computery“ ”hot dogi,“ and my favorite ”planty" (the green park-like space in the ring around the city).
We also had dinner to the melodies of a Klezmer, and it made me so happy. Traditional Jewish.
