couple of hours at Myrtle Beach, SC

by Jon June. 14, 2007 3179 views

my daughter and I drove back to Myrtle Beach from Columbia to check out the ocean. Thunderstorms came in around lunchtime and messed up flight operations and drove the sun worshipers off the beach.

missed the weekend festivities

495 ft. tall

from the fishing pier

Thunderstorms delayed the flight

going nuts stuck on the plane at the gate

finally up

rough ride through the clouds

The last 2 were just awesome!! I guess not being from a land that has sand I didn't really notice the sand castle??? I guess I can't register in my mind what it takes to make a sand castle?? It looks cool though.
