an evening at the lighhouse

The lighthouse is open once a month in the evening for the public. The summer haze and clouds made obscured the moon and distant landmarks. I’ll return in the fall for clear skies.

I love these...the darkening sequence in the first three, the spiral stairs...all of it is just great.

Wonderful post. I think you caught it at a time when it's best put to use. The stair shots are great fun. I love the night shots too!

i really like the silhouette of the lighthouse against the evening sky in five; the mixture of light in the sky and on the house is perfect.

the shots in the night look like some sort of grand illusion--a flame floating above a white pillar.
