I do not know who that person was, but I know this is a fantastic honor!

Ahh Aaron Siskind, a name I have not thought about in quite some time. So well done Josy. Your work here, like his, shows the flatness of the picture plane. I especially love the first photograph. I want to reach in there and peel those curling pieces of wood or bark or whatever it is they are. I think this is superb tribute to Aaron Siskind. Each example is unique and well done. The second one being so fast and the third having some dimension. I love it all.

Aaron Siskind. Le père de la photographie moderne. La photographie comme métaphore poétique.
Josy. Je étais fasciné par ce ton ouvrage.

These are wonderfully intriguing..... I can't really explain it, but I love the moods these create. I think I need to find some more information about Aaron Siskind. It's a beautiful set Josy! x

These seem to tell a story of time passing. Very beautiful, each of them.

Love the crackled texture in the first one. Shows time who passed and tells us a story. Wonderful post Josy :)

Bravo! J'aime bien la dernière!

I confess I had to search about Aaron, and now that I did, I have to tell you, you are an excellent disciple of his work. Last one has a mood that reminds me a japanese minimalist design. To my favs and thanks for learning always a lot with your posts.
