Three Barns and a Creek......

by Eric J H Joyce March. 25, 2008 3571 views

I found these three barns within three miles of each other in Lincoln County, Minnesota. I just put the creek sunset in there for fun. Same general area, just a different day.

Many pictures turn out to be limp translations of the known world instead of vital objects which create an intrinsic world of their own. There is a vast difference between taking a picture and making a photograph.

I love old barns. The first three photos are some of your best??they are so evocative and the colours and compositions are so suited to one another. Bravo.

very nice shots. the barns all look very similar. the rounded and peaked roof is typical for the shape of barns there?
