This event held special significance for American skywatchers: It marked the first time in 18 years that an annular solar eclipse could be seen from the United States.

Oh, Eric, #4 & 5 are fabulous! TFS - it was cloudy here so I didn't even get to see it, much less photograph it!

Beautiful eclipse, don't know if you planned it that way but the windmills in the shots are a great edition and add interest an already wonderful eclipse.
