I spotted a bunch of small animal tracks around a fallen tree and was wondering what kind of animal left these tiny tracks, when something darted across the snow. I stayed perfectly still to watch this little weasel romp through the snow. I came back a few more times to see him and then suddenly he was gone. Probably another animals meal. Now I can say I have seen a weasel in the winter but have yet to spot one in the summer.
I don't recall ever seeing a weasel..thanks for the super photos. I really like #2 !
