Y'all don't even know

Three fingers in a cut crystal glass, one cube of ice and a splash of branch water. Lord knows there is no greater reward for living until the end of the day than this. As a very wise person once said, "It's got to be five o'clock somewhere!".

I'm now a follower of yours.  Very impressed with the posts I've checked out so far. (Love that you include song lyrics in some of your captions. I actually recently thought of doing something like that in my posts and then saw that you do it! There's hardly anything anyone can say to me without me thinking of a lyric.)  But I digress...

I know this post is older, but I wanted to say as an old Canadian lady (I like our ryes), I've discovered that I like bourbon.  I started with JD (I know - not bourbon but Tennessee whiskey), then my son-in-law told me to start tasting old true bourbons.  I love Maker's Mark but it's pricey here (in Toronto) and today I bought Knob Creek Single Barrel - also pricey.  When that's done I'll look for Four Roses.

Thank you so much. I am deeply honored. I am a child of the 60's, so song is everything and everywhere.

Ah, a woman after my heart. Brown likker - nothing finer! I'm about to post for the weekly challenge "Drink" and it is a Canadian favorite, Crown Royal. Only this time, it's the limited edition Peach. Two fingers with three of lemonade, man, that's the beginning of summer her in the Mid-South.

Still love Crown Royal but never seen this one. I saw your pic on the challenge. Very nice. I can never get my posts on the forum so I had to email my effort to Craig

Thanks! I have to put it down low, in the back of the pantry, where it's tough on my spinal fusion to get to it, otherwise I might enjoy it more!

My other half is a bourboniere (I made up the word because I can smile). He enjoys a good bourbon over any other drink. I will have to show him your photo. As I write this comment (11:02 a.m) it is 5:02 p.m. in England....guess we should go visit Gethin and have a drink with him right now smile

I love that word! I shall, henceforth, name myself as such. Do go have a tipple and say "Hi!" to Gethin for me. Got my suction cup yesterday, but, as for the past three days, so sun and none in the future. But, there is bourbon!
