Day 55: Silo Falls

by John Nelson February. 24, 2010 2461 views

A local neighborhood was built on an old farm. The namesake comes from this still-standing silo on the property. With a nice wispy-cloud-blue-sky day, I decided to stop and capture the silo. As an added bonus, the moon is super tiny in the lower right side.

Every aspect of this photo is perfect - from the textures between the surfaces of the silo (did you notice 2 different types of stone before the brick section?) to the bright blue sky, which just accentuates the size and shape. This is a superb shot, John.
