Day 207: Polar Coordinate Fun

by John Nelson July. 26, 2010 2572 views

I recently read an article [rickrawrulessammon.blogspot.com] by Rick Sammon [ricksammon.com] with a fun editing trick. It uses a double polar coordinate flip distortion edit in Photoshop. His tulip example is amazing, so I started testing it on some of my old photos. I didn't have any flower shots that worked well for this technique, so I used a photo from Cozumel's beaches. I liked the end result.

You can tell what the original shot was, but the distortion is so cool! Where are the fish??
