Ladybugs & Blossoms

For Mother's Day last year, I bought my wife a Ladybug Land [] kit. It's basically a greenhouse with ladybug eggs that you watch grow into full ladybugs. It's pretty amazing. Since we ordered the eggs only a couple of months ago, most of the eggs died from the cold weather shipping. But we got 3 ladybugs and enjoyed watching them grow up.

We had a “release party” when the weather warmed up a bit, and my girls had a blast letting them crawl around on their hands.

And there's also a random shot of our bradford pear blossoms. Because it's finally Spring!

A ladybug on my thumb. I was waiting for it to fly off to see if I could get an open-wing shot (see #3).

My oldest daughter laughed and giggled over the ladybugs crawling all over her hands.

About to take off…
