New Year's Day in New York.

Taken after Midnight, and into the day… all photos taken Jan 1st, 2010. Life is what you make it!

The Empire State Building, submerged in gloomy fog. Took this while walking back from Times Square to the East Village after 2am.

Red coat Orange Wall = works well.

St. Marks Pl. The memories here keep building.

One skyscraper amongst many, but this is the one I photographed in the afternoon. The sun's position helped the color, of course.

Yet another view of Times Square, post-celebration… even if the excitement continued into Jan 3rd, before the tourists departed for airports. Again, not a shot I am terribly pleased with, but I just wanted to capture “what it looked like then”.
