Last week we had my 2004 host family from New Zealand visiting us and so together we explored some areas of Switzerland. Two main day trips included a visit to Gruyères, the medieval town known for its production of the cheese of the same name, as well as a venture up to the Schynige Platte in the Bernese Oberland, which offered us majestic views of the three most famous mountains in that region: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Spectacular photos, Julia. I've always been drawn to the mountains and your photos really make me appreciate their beauty. Thanks for sharing them.
Thank you, Greg. Over the last year I have come to realize how much I love mountains and landscape in general in all variations of its shape, size and form.
