Persephone knew.

by Julia Gotz October. 26, 2007 6624 views

She was close with her mother and a lovely girl by all accounts.

The story says she was tricked into tasting. I bet Persephone had an inkling - a curiosity (just like Eve was drawn to the slim hipped smooth talker in the snakeskin boots).

I don't hold it against her.

How could I?

She's heading back there soon. Winter will come. I hope she burns …

… in the most delicious way.

I think the pomegranet is the most beautiful fruit! They are also my daughters favorite. I just sent two in for her second grade class to try because they were doing a section on edible plants..

As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks.
