The weather has been hot the last couple of days 30c or so.
I noticed a noticed a couple of things that hadn't been there a couple of days earlier...
Insect eggs and young...
So out came the macro lens for a closer look.


Looking like a small dark stain under a pea leaf, my trusty macro lens uncovered this scene of moth eggs and caterpillars. The caterpillars are only 1-1.5mm in length. unable to ID the species I removed the leaf and moved it well away.


I noticed movement in the water of one of my birdbaths, the old macro lens again helped, and I managed to get a few manual focused hand held images for identification...the internet unfortunately confirmed these (hundreds of) are Mosquito nymphs, so had to go, in a quick and natural way, with citri
