Procedure to file RTI
RTI can be filed in any govt deptt or any gove aided institution. A citizen can demand any public record, or photocopy of the record.

1. Find out the PIO ( public information Officer) from the website of the bank.
2. Draft a simple application addressed to the PIO and state clearly the questions you want to know the answers of.( you can ask as many questions as u want in a single application but dont confuse them, ask clearly.)
3. Attach a DD/ Postal order of Rs 10 along with the application. If u had asked for any photocopies of documents, they will calculate the fee and deamnd it from u. So its beeter to send DD/IPO of some extra amount initially with the application itself.
4.Send it through post(sped post/Regd Post preferably) or in person.
5.Every PIO is bound to reply within 30 days of receipt of the application, if he delays without any justified official cause or gives wrong information, he can be fined upto rs250/ daily upto rs 25000 with a way of deduction from his salary .
