Sometimes we loose TI as we age.....

by Karman September. 06, 2011 3892 views

When we are children our siblings are our playmates; when we become older life's happenings builds a gap and sometimes forgets to leave plans for a bridge.

“The Tuesday Inspiration” began in 2009 when they started setting each other a challenge… on a Tuesday. Very soon afterwards, it was decided to open this up to other PB members, followed by the idea that we should not reveal what the subject is, so that other members could compare how different members view a single theme. The Tuesday Inspiration is not a contest or a challenge, but a group of people all agreeing to post their interpretation of a single theme on Tuesdays. Each week, one of the contributors sets the theme. There are now over 60 members contributing to the TI. It is not a contest or a challenge, just a bunch of people agreeing to post their interpretation of a single theme on Tuesdays. Each week one of the contributors sets the theme and everybody else can enjoy/guess what it is. We have only two “rules”: don’t include the subject in the TI title or tags and please comply with standard PB guidelines on courtesy, etc. If you would like to take part, please contact HELEN aka girafferacing [photoblog.com]

This is a scan of a very old picture (which I did not take) when I was about 5 maybe 6 at Moss Marine in Ft. Myers Florida. This fish was captured by a tourist. It is a grouper fish.

I love old photos, they have their own stories. I hope it's more than just a memory. =)

Great memories. When my mom passed I found stuff she had saved--stuff I would have thrown out. Old matchbooks of vacations taken, my orders to tranfer to Alaska while in the USAF, and so many other treasures...

Your post is very touching to me Karman and so true......"Life's happenings sometimes forgets to leave plans for a bridge" Love can build a bridge, but someone has to cross it. When both make an agreement to meet in the middle, each has only to go half way......
