Our oldest son is a RedNeck Engineer. He is able to find a workable solution where engineers say “It Can Not Be Done”…..Never say Never is probably the best lesson he learned in his life. If you tell him it is impossible he will find a way. ALSO~he is quite lazy ~in that if he can find a way to do his job quicker he will spend hours finding a Red Solution.
He needed to keep the front wheel on the ground as he was adding 40 gallons of water to the tank on the back…hence the pipe that made the “POINT” to hold the weights…..The fact that it gave the three wheeler a horn and is a TORO was lost on him, but only for a moment. :)

I prefer to call it ingenue - some people got it, and some don't. Your son has it!

HaaaaaHilarius but ingenius! I'm sure there's a Redneck solution for every Redneck with creativity and determination. Where there's a will there's a way. It's too bad some ways don't always work...but determination carries on.....
Your Son is both creative and determined!
Great Post Karman

People who follow through with their creative ideas to make their dreams a reality here is small true story At the turn of the century, Mrs. Earl Dickson, an inexperienced cook, often burned and cut herself. Mr. Dickson, a Johnson and Johnson employee, got plenty of practice in hand bandaging. Out of concern for his wife's safety, he began to prepare bandages ahead of time so that his wife could apply them by herself. By combining a piece of surgical tape and a piece of gauze, he fashioned the first crude adhesive strip bandage

I want one. You know, your son reminds me of my father, who created whatever he needed to suit any situation. Conventional people worry about how things look and what others will think of their work. Creative and original people think about what THEY want and how it will make sense and be beneficial: your son is just that. Hats off to him. (Some people thought Edison was just weird... and?)
