April Showers Bring May Flowers

These are actually called “May Flowers” or “May Apples”. I am not sure why, have just always heard them called that. They look like umbrellas and up underneath the canopy for only a few days they have the prettiest yellow blooms.

      We call them Pineapple Plants aound these parts. I don't know why other than growing low to the ground and the fruit resembles a pineapple.....
