This chopper was overhead for ages - first thing I did was lock the front door, just in case someone had escaped from the nearby jail. :)
Then when I went out on the balcony and saw it wasn't polair, so had no idea what was going on.
Turned out there had been a burst water main that caused some major flooding and the TV channel was filming it all for the night time news. But it spent so much longer than the 5 seconds that ended up on TV!
In our neighborhood it's always bad when the news copters are overhead.
Glad yours was just a water main.
